The Ayurveda Introductory Week includes:

For many years – and for so many of our repeater guests – simply the Ayurveda Cure Classic. Our Panchakarma Cure. For this cure, we recommend a minimum stay of two weeks, optimally three weeks.

The Panchakarma Cure is a cleansing and detoxifying therapy that intervenes deep in our organism. In Ayurvedic literature you can find many statements about the rejuvenating effect of a Panchakarma treatment. A treatment of only 2-3 weeks may reset the biological age of the body by 5 years. The intense detoxification and purification removes and replaces defective parts from the cell walls among others. For those who are interested in such a cure, we therefore recommend to largely avoid any physical and mental efforts. Sightseeing tours, sporting activities or beach/diving vacations should optimally be scheduled before the Ayurveda cure.

During the first phase of Panchakarma, the detoxification phase, the toxins in the body are dissolved and removed. This is done by special Ayurveda massages with medicated Ayurvedic oils, herbal and steam baths, individual medication and gentle cleansing processes. The second phase, the build-up phase, strengthens and revitalizes body and mind, again with targeted circulation activating massage treatments, acupuncture and harmonizing body and energy work.

During the Ayurveda cure, you should simply recover, relax, be pampered by the Ayurvedic oil treatments to provide the body with power for its own cleansing and healing processes. Of course, you can enjoy smaller tours and excursions in our surroundings after the detoxification phase. But the focus should be to switch of, let your mind come to rest, deliberately let go of everyday issues, and to give yourself the opportunity to heal in a holistic sense. Relaxing walks on our beach, enjoying nature, and our wonderful body and energy work in the form of Yoga, Tai chi, exercises for back and core stability as well as meditation will be a valuable contribution to your regeneration.

This long-term Ayurveda cure includes all high quality services of our Shunyata Classic, the Panchakarma Cure . However, the Ayurvedic cleansing phase (removal of toxins, waste products and other deposits) of the Medical Ayurveda Cure is longer and more intensive. In addition you will receive highly effective medicated Ayurvedic full-body oil treatments. After prolonged application, the active ingredients of these oils are demonstrably transported to all cells and form active depots also in the bones.

Ayurveda cure procedure

The cure begins with the check-in at 2 p.m. on the day of arrival.

Depending on your arrival time (before 4 p.m.) you start your Ayurveda cure immediately with our pampering jet lag/welcome massage.

On day 2 in the morning – when your soul has had time to settle down, you will have the first medical consultation with one of our Ayurveda doctors, who will accompany you through the cure. In general, one of our German guest advisors will go with you to this consultation to avoid any linguistic misunderstandings.

Here, the personal treatment plan for your Ayurvedic cure variant is designed and set according to your constitution and your treatment goals. However, as already indicated above, it is not a rigidly fixed procedure: the individual Ayurvedic applications, or combinations, as well as the set of Ayurvedic medicine will be adjusted per your current general health over the course of the cure.

Ayurvedic cure treatments

Your individual Ayurvedic cure treatments start after the initial consultation. Your therapeutic applications are spread deliberately throughout the day, so after each treatment your body can relax at the resort, on our beach, in a protected area of our garden or in your living area. You will also have enough time for the Ayurvedic meals. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner at set times that we inform you about at the beginning of your Ayurveda cure. The meals can be enjoyed at the beach restaurant, the restaurant of our house or on request in your apartment.

The Ayurveda cure officially ends on the day before your departure with the thorough final consultation and the flower bath. When it fits in your travel schedule we will say Goodbye with a Farewell Massage.

The Temple Tree Resort directly connects to our resort. We have been offering this variant with very good feedback for many years now, in closely coordinated neighborhood cooperation.

In detail, it looks as follows:

You stay in the Temple Tree and can always go back there during the day. However, you are our guest in the Shunyata Villa. All treatments and medical consultations take place at our resort, which also applies for all Ayurvedic meals, sessions of meditation, body and energy work, as well as Tai chi and Yoga. In the Ayurveda area, you can take a shower and change. Of course, we also serve you our included beverages, juices, tea etc. between the meals.

For guests staying in our partner hotel, the course of the cure is as follows:
 The cure begins on the first day at 8 a.m. (usually after your first night at the Temple Tree) with the Ayurvedic breakfast in our beach side restaurant. The first medical consultation takes place during the morning.
After that, you will start your first day of treatment. Details are discussed in the first consultation. The cure ends in the evening of the last day with dinner.
